By putting the voices of women leaders on a global stage we will highlight and empower women and girls to close the gender gap across all sectors.
What are the UN SDGs?
The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals was an initiative put forth by the United Nations and ratified by all 193 member countries in 2015 with the goal to achieve global sustainability by 2030.
“It is a roadmap to ending global poverty, building a life of dignity for all and leaving no one behind. It is also a clarion call to work in partnership and intensify efforts to share prosperity, empower people’s livelihoods, ensure peace and heal our planet for the benefit of this and future generations,” underscored UN Secretary-General Mr. Ban Ki-moon.
